The Plainfield Area Regional Sewerage Authority (PARSA) introduced its fiscal 2016 Budget at the November 5, 2015 Authority meeting. The Budget is scheduled for adoption at PARSA’s December 3, 2015 meeting. Enclosed is a copy of the 2016 Budget and the 2016 User Charges. The 2016 Budget is $11,902,383 which is a $38,159 increase from the 2015 Budget. The Service Charges to be raised from the Municipalities is $11,436,033 about $929 less than 2015.
The PARSA Staff were the recipients of 2 awards from the Water Environment Federation (WEF). PARSA's Executive Director, Robert Villee received the WEF 2013 Collection System Award, which is given for meritorious service in collection system management and operations.
Frank Kunz, Bob Snyder, Jr. and Steve Grosso received two WEF Operator Ingenuity CSI Awards for creating the PARSA Flow Bench to calibrate and troubleshoot flow meters before installing them in the sewers, and for designing the PARSA Potty, which has been used for product testing in the war on flushable wipes.
